Fishing for our family started in Sweden. Sweden has a long tradition in the fishing industry. The Martin family name began in the United Stated. In Sweden, the name was Burnsenton. As was the custom in that day, when people immigrated to the United States, they often switched their first name and made it their last name. Such was the case, when Martin was taken as the last name.

  • "We were traveling back from our Ocean City vacation to NJ. We wanted some crabs for our kids .The only and reliable place we had seen was Martin Market .Fresh fish, crabs, scallops, etc. Specially the service and prices there were excellent."

  • "Great fish tacos made with fresh fried flounder! Delicious and huge! Happened to be the special with pricing at $5.95 for two with steak fries! Cold Miller Lite at $5.05 which I thought was a little high for the locale. Overall excellent food and service! Will definitely return!"

  • "This place has the best fresh seafood ever in ocean city. We walked in this place with hesitation at first but then when the food arrived we realized how great it is! We are going to dine here every time we are in ocean city! The back patio with ocean view is really nice! Try the Grill tuna and flounder."
